Hello, my name is Devika Kohona, as the owner of Little Friends Montessori School, I would be delighted to help you with your child’s Montessori education.



I started as a public school teacher in Sri Lanka, where I taught math and science for 6th and 7th grade students for 12 years. I obtained my diploma in the Montessori method of education in 1990 in Sri Lanka. Upon my arrival to the United States, I worked as a Montessori teacher for over 20 years in America. I believe that my teaching experience in Montessori schools and public schools, including my own experience as a mother, makes me a guide well suited to help you and your child experience the benefits of a Montessori school.
